Abstract

This project focuses on the study and implementation of the Conservative Power Theory to characterize typical residential loads by obtaining equivalent circuits and verifying their behavior as a harmonic "current source" or "voltage source". Based on these equivalent circuits, it is intended to identify the main load characteristics as well as the type of nonlinearities present in the circuit. The main objective is based on carrying out simulations and experimental measurements in order to validate, through equivalent circuits, the characteristics of typical residential loads.
