Abstract

This project is part of the project "Digital Classics: linking languages to Portuguese and improving an automatic translation alignment model", through translation alignments (TAs) and manual revision of automatic alignments of excerpts from the texts of Aristotle, Herodotus, and a partial translation of the _Corpus Platonicum_. The purpose is to provide data for training and, at the same time, to generate input for a digital library, to allow comparative analyses of the translation processes between authors, as well as the observation of specific uses of lexical items, and, finally, to improve the model for automating the TAs.
