Abstract

The existence, quantity and quality of water are essential factors for thepreservation of life and for the sustainable development of human activities.Therefore, the critical management of water resources is not only necessary, butessential. This research aims to contribute to the management and sustainable exploitationof water resources in Critical Zones located in the State of São Paulo. Thatresearch plan explores hydrological properties and states such as permeabilityand subsurface water content from electrical properties obtained with theElectroresistivity and Induced Polarization methods.
