Abstract

Stress is conceptualized as a neurophysiologic response to physical andpsychological threats. Emotions and negative feelings derived frominterpersonal relationships can generate a state of chronic stress. In Brazil, few questionnaires are available to assess interpersonal stress whose resultscan be used for clinical assessment or scientific research. In general, theavailable questionnaires do not prioritize the analysis of emotional orpsychological derived from emotional stress that can be related to chronicstress. Therefore, this study aims to develop and validate aquestionnaire to evaluate interpersonal stress derived from emotional states, allowing its use in clinical routine and scientific research on the Brazilianpopulation.
