Abstract

The project will examine aporias within contemporary Literature (and literary criticism), focusing on what are the double binds, epistemic violences that run through this clash through the search for solutions to ethical problems raised and who are the excluded from this account. Radiation issues (within the Fukushima nuclear accident, in Tawada YMko and Murakami Ryk), suicide (in David Foster Wallace) and dreams (in Roberto Bolaño), will unfold from a reinterpretation of theories of Comparative Literature (and the criticisms possibly made from mostly post-colonial perspectives and deconstruction) also to review the very metatheoretical and methodological possibility of comparison. The basis that supports the entire project is the reinterpretation of works by Jacques Derrida, stressing the relationship between the field of Philosophy and Literature, when one observes, from the movements of ethical issues, their unfolding in Philosophy and Literature, seeking to put the two fields in question, correlated to the way in which such questions arise, at first, from selected works by Derrida, which would tie the whole argumentative center of the project.
