Abstract

The present scientific project aims to study the process of labour mobilization from the perspective of gypsies in their trajectory, settlement and displacement in the outskirts of São Paulo. We will attempt to analyse, through an understanding of the territorialization of capital in its process of reproduction of labour relations, how the social insertion of Roma is qualitatively articulated in the relationship between social reproduction and labour. Thus, thinking of Roma as subjects territorialized by the capital relations, we intend to research how the current context, understood here as the crisis of labour, enhances transformations in social labour relations and in Romani socialization, both interpreted from a particular manifestation and territorial nexus.
