Abstract

Founded in the early 1990s, UrbanData-Brasil: Databank on Urban Brazil locates, collects and organizes bibliographical data, disseminating access to cross-disciplinary and cross-institutional research on Brazil's urban issues. The project is coordinated by Bianca Freire-Medeiros, professor at USP Sociology Dept, and collates more than 16,000 bibliographic entries. Within the context of the partnership between UrbanData-Brasil and the Center for Metropolitan Studies, the research assistant will join the production of the Urbanidades Podcast, the electronic catalog São Paulo under Graduate Lens: An analytical bibliography (1940-2015), and the bibliographic database daily tasks.
