Abstract

The main goal of this project is to study the initial topics in Commutative Algebra. This subarea of Algebra is the base for the study of many problems in Mathematics, for example the problem of resolution of singularities in Algebraic Geometry. This project will be fundamental to prepare the applicant to develop research in this area during his graduate studies.
