Abstract

This thesis aims at the development of a set of mathematical models to identify the best reverse osmosis membrane plant solution for a supply system with wells that present nonconformities of raw water quality in relation to potability legislation. The objective is to minimize the CAPEX and OPEX costs of the system. A variant of the model should also meet the operational control demands of the supply system.
