Abstract

The present research project is linked to the thematic project "Democracy Crises: Critical Theory and Diagnosis of the Present Time" and corresponds to subproject II "Public Sphere and Crisis of Democracy: Economic, Cultural and Political Dimensions of Counterpublics". The general objective of the research is to map, systematize and analyze the emerging literature on the new feminist activism in Brazil, elaborated mainly, from 2010, on the new feminist activism in Brazil to identify diagnoses, spaces and actresses. With this, we intend to collect data present in this bibliography, organize their diagnoses, and from there carry out a balance of what was produced. It is intended to identify how this literature addresses key moments in the construction of this new feminist activism from the second decade of the century, such as the Marcha das Vadias; the "feminist spring"; the protests against PEC 181, known as the "Trojan Horse" PEC; the #Ele Não protests, among others. Another objective is to understand how such literature deals with the theme of the relationship between the new feminist activism and the internet, with emphasis on social networks, identifying in which virtual spaces there is a more intense performance of this activism. In addition, it is essential to map the main groups and actresses pointed out by this literature as central to the formation and performance of this new feminist field in Brazil. The autonomy developed by the new feminist activism in view of its publics and counterpublics, concepts thought from the article Rethinking the Public Sphere: a Contribution to the Critique of Actually Existing Democracy, by Nancy Fraser (1997) are noted. Based on the notions of counterpublics and discursive field of action, which emerged in the context of the post-Habermasian research agenda for investigating the public sphere, the aim of the project is to qualitatively investigate the new feminist activism in Brazil.
