Abstract

This research project aims to investigate the possibilities of professional work for music graduates, as well as the perceptions that these professionals have about their own labor insertion. It will seek to verify how precariousness and flexibility, characteristics of the universe of contemporary work and artistic activities in particular, are experienced in the practice of their work/artistic activities, as well as to understand in what ways their insertion in the labor market is done, which are the main activities embarked on and how they are experienced. The study is qualitative and will be carried out through an analysis of trajectories, monitored through biographical interviews in the form of life stories and oral reports, in order to extensively analyze these trajectories. The interlocutors will be music graduates from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar).
