Abstract

The use of organic synthesis in the preparation of natural products is of great interest, given the complexity of these compounds and their low availability in nature. For that, the synthetic organic chemists use the environment as inspiration to develop new reactions. In this sense, the objective of this research project is the use of chemical conditions to accomplish the conversion between natural diterpenes in a selective and biomimetic way, aiming to prepare natural products.
