Abstract

The Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) is a form of assessment widely used in medical training, which uses tools that simulate reality. This method is composed of stations observed by evaluators, who have the function of indicating the positive and negative points of each student by task, following the checklist, qualifying them through a grade. This study proposes to conduct a broad psychometric analysis of the OSCEs conducted in 2019, 2021, and 2022 in two medical schools, one public and one private, using quantitative and qualitative tests. In this way, we will seek to identify the reliability of the assessments to the pedagogical proposals. Subsequently, we will seek to describe an analysis system that is easy to execute, so that the analysis is viable after each application.
