Abstract

In recent years, three-dimensional printing technology has been rapidly developed and widely used in many areas. In particular, in the dental field, 3D printing has become popular as an additive manufacturing method for laboratory products, temporary dental restorations and now promises new definitive materials for dental rehabilitation. These materials are photosensitive resins, composed of a matrix of polymers where the inorganic ceramic component is incorporated in order to promote mechanical and aesthetic benefits. Currently, the dental scenario is experiencing an increase in eroded cases, where erosion combined with abrasion causes a series of problems that must be addressed and selected according to the planning and restorative material to be used. Thus, the objective of the present study is to test the impact of using artificial acid combined with brush abrasion on the optical and structural properties of ceramic-infiltrated printed materials, in addition to their microhardness, surface roughness and brightness of 3 printed nanoceramic materials. The color measurement will be performed according to CIELAB measurements with a spectrophotometer, the surface roughness will be performed using a contact profile meter and the microhardness through the Vickers test. The results obtained in each of the tests will be submitted to descriptive statistical analysis as well as to the homogeneity and homoscedasticity test. Depending on the results of these tests, appropriate statistical treatments will be chosen.
