Abstract

In this project, we intend to evaluate the effects of the application of the growth hormones gibberellin, cytokinin and auxin on the initial development of sugarcane (Saccharum spp.) of the CTC-4 variety. The experiment will be carried out in pots at the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Campus of Dracena, SP. For the biometric characteristics: number of leaves, number of stems, diameter of stems and height of stems, a randomized block design (RBD) in an 8x4 factorial arrangement will be used, the first factor being composed of hormones and their combinations; and the second factor composed of the evaluation days, that is, at 45, 60, 75 and 90 after planting. Therefore, for these characteristics, there will be 32 treatments with six replications, totaling 192 plots or replications. For the other characteristics, chlorophyll index and physiological parameters, a randomized block design (RDB) will be used, containing eight treatments in six replications, totaling 48 plots.
