Abstract

In the agricultural sector there are a series of chemical and/or physical analyzes used in the evaluation of seed quality, which are often laborious processes, which depend on experienced analysts, or which use polluting chemical solvents, or are high-cost analyses, so that the search for innovative and simpler solutions to carry out these analyzes can represent a significant productivity gain for the sector. In recent years, bench magnetic resonance methods and equipment have evolved rapidly in resolution and costs, opening a window of opportunity in the development of new methods for the sector, which may result in techniques with more accessible costs, easy execution, and without the use of chemical solvents. The objective of this project is to develop a new methodology for analyzing the physiological quality, vigor and germination potential of soybean seeds, seeking to evaluate the presence of mechanical damage, stink bug damage and moisture damage in seeds, with spectral analyzes in resonance equipment countertop magnet. The results obtained will be compared with those obtained with the conventional technique called "tetrazolium test".
