Abstract

The questioning about creative activities present in Senegalese women's rap pursues the contours of the questions elaborated in this text. This exploratory approach dialogues in a complementary way with theoretical references from Africa. The dynamics of the multiform composition are constructed as performative acts. In this sense, the analysis in this investigation does not only consider the aesthetic and formal elements of the different rap works, but, also, incorporate the confluences and plural perspectives of their global art experience, such as corporeality, visuality, discourse, politics, participatory art, street art and performance.
