Abstract

This research project aims to establish a work plan for scientific initiation that presents the multiple perspectives that constitute the Philosophy of Mathematics Education in Brazil. To achieve this goal, the project will use interviews already conducted with mathematics educators in a Philosophy of Mathematics Education course, as well as their respective academic productions as study and analysis materials. The interviews will be transcribed and a database will be built with the bibliography of each mathematics educator interviewed. Based on this data, a first mapping of the singularities of each perspective and their intersections will be produced. It is worth mentioning that the work plan presented here aligns with the general objective of the research project, "Philosophies of Mathematics Education: Spectrums of Difference", which aims to produce a book that problematizes and presents a cartography of the Philosophies of Mathematics Education in Brazil based on the discourses and bibliographies of recognized mathematics educators.
