Abstract

From a theoretical and methodological perspective that focuses on literacy studies, particularly in the relationship between speech and writing, this research project aims to study the interlocutive game in the interaction between speaker (producer) and listener (receiver) of storytelling podcasts, taking into account the use of verbal communicational signals and their conversational function in the textual-interactive organization of storytelling production. The hypothesis is that the use of these communicational signals in the production of the storytelling podcast is relevant to the engagement on the part of the listener/audience. The set consists of two episodes with the theme of fake news, produced by Serrapilheira Institute and Radio Novelo, available for public access. The specific objectives are: (i) describe and analyze, based on the script transcription text, the verbal communicational signs employed by the speaker (producer) in the relationship with the interviewee (receiver) of the podcast program, considering the conversational function of these signs in the textual-interactive organization of a conversation conceived as in praesentia; (ii) describe and analyze, based on the script transcription text, the verbal communicational signs employed by the speaker (producer) in the relation with the listener (receiver) of the podcast program, considering the conversational function of these signs in the textual-interactive organization of a conversation conceived as in absentia. We seek to contribute to the investigation of the relationship between academic and scientific expertise and content produced and spread on digital platforms and social networks, such as podcasts, considering the possibility of engagement with scientific issues.
