Abstract

We intend to reflect about corporality and the place that children take in the social organization construction and reproduction of an Ayahuasca community. To this end, we propose an ethnographic research with ayahuasca children, recognizing their agency in the creation and negotiation of rules and forms of learning that relate to the Daime community. In effect, immersed in the contributions of Child Anthropology and Childhood Sociology, we understand how they are seen in this space: the permissions, limitations and ways of resignify. Thus, our reflections are based on the analysis of photographs: focusing on the corporality of the agents; in the collection of drawings: getting in touch with playful rhetorical and imagery constructions of their perceptions and with interviews with children and other members of the community.
