Abstract

More than ever, scientific dissemination must be considered an indispensable activity, worked in parallel with the development of research from the beginning, particularly when carried out in public institutions. In addition to contributing to the scientific and technological education of the lay public, popularizing science concepts and methods, the dissemination of results to society is a way of rendering accounts for the public resources used in these researches. The purpose of these grants is to develop work to disseminate the area of nuclear physics and particle physics, mainly the physical concepts involved in this project, as well as the technological developments arising from experimental activities. Considering its characteristics, this is not a job that can be done in an improvised way or as an accessory to the scientific production itself, and must rely on personnel who are already working in the area or who are undergoing training in this field. Thus, the grants intend both to rely on the knowledge already existing among the selected professionals, as well as to provide them with a higher level of specialization.
