Abstract

In this project we intend to implement and optimize the CRISPR-Cas12 methodology for laboratory molecular diagnosis of infections caused by pathogenic bacteria circulating in hospital environments, focusing on the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) environment, taking into account the need to reduce dependence on imported inputs through the in-house production of the components necessary for the establishment of the methodology, in addition to streamlining, increasing sensitivity and decreasing the time for its laboratory molecular diagnosis.
