Abstract

It is according with the idea that the romance possess an anthropological-speculative statute which constitute the universe of the literary, as postulated by Alexandre Nodari when referring to José Juan Saer, that we will use as a tool for the research, such as the bottom line for a philosophical discussion, two selected texts where a qualitative difference will be traced, concerning to its respective processes of incorporation of the other - the transformation of the human character in an ounce in both works. It is in the comparative analysis of the phenomenon that takes place in the short story "Meu Tio o Iauaretê", by Guimarães Rosa, and in one of the chapters of the novel "Torto Arado", by Itamar Vieira Júnior, that the ontological implications of the interspecies relation will be observed, comprehended in parallel and in conformance to the concept of becoming animal as proposed by Deleuze and Guattari. Also, it matters to discuss the becoming's implications of the language in the literary field, taking an elaboration upon the character's statute as the constitution of a point of view in each work. The point of view literary constituted will be taken as the component which gives the form (while is also the condition) to a subject-position on the fictional dimension - the territory where this mythical unit assumes an individuality delimited by the limits of the body (always presupposed) that is part of a shamanic process of agency, to sum up, the activation of this body as the other's perspective is incorporated. From the works of Viveiros de Castro, the amerindian perspectivism will show up as the supporting theory for the comprehension of the otherness' possibility - as a devoration - in literature, in concern with the idea of the presupposed body of the character as a changeable clothing or envelope related to the point(s) of view, or perspective(s), able to execute its agency and create subject-position(s) as from the zones of indiscernibility of the fictional exercise.
