Abstract

In the research proposed here, we aim to study how the transition from the concept of facticity, worked in Martin Heidegger's philosophy of youth, to the concept of being-in-the-world, that would be presented as a central piece in the phenomenological ontology of Being and Time. Based on lectures prior to 1927, which deal with the problem of facticity, we intend to show how the concept of being-in-the-world is gradually constituted from an unfolding of facticity. In the 1910s, by the way, Heidegger had the "factual dilemma" as one of his main theoretical concerns, that, in our understanding, would eventually lead him to propose, in the lecture Phenomenological Interpretations on Aristotle: Introduction to Phenomenological Research, by 1922, the task of realizing a hermeneutic phenomenological ontology in which the being itself appears as the main issue. In the following year, in turn - in Hermeneutics of Facticity (Ontology), 1923 - this task is deepened and the new term, "being-in-the-world", appears for the first time as a way of designating the factual being-there . Our intention, therefore, is to understand how this new ontological horizon, which emerged with force in the early 1920s from facticity, starts to guide Heideggerian thought and gives an ever greater centrality to the concept of being-in-the-world, whose systematic elaboration will in fact be given, as is known, in the work Being and Time.
