Abstract Boats are subjected to oscillations imposed by the motion of the ocean waves. This oscillatory motion of the waves makes the boat present oscillations that can be used to generate electric energy and charge the boat batteries. This project aims to numerically model a motion-rectifier mechanism to be used in a boat for this purpose. In this way, the output shaft of the mechanism must present a continuous rotary motion irrespective of the motions of the boat to run an electric generator. | |
