Abstract Among the various types of crimes, cargo theftis of great interest due to its spatial characteristics, the high values involved, and the fact that this type of crime is committed by violent gangs, resulting, in many cases, in the kidnapping and death of drivers. This project aims to employ data science tools in the development of methodologies for identifying and extracting patterns related to the crime of cargo theft. The project also seeks to provide the student with knowledge not contained in the regular curriculum of their undergraduate course, applying such knowledge to the investigation of a real and relevant problem. | |
