Abstract

One of the factors that make it difficult to increase soybean cultivation in sugarcane reform areas in the state of São Paulo is the duration of the crop cycle, associated with the need for favorable weather conditions for sowing and harvesting, causing delays in sugarcane planting. Given the above, the objective of this work will be to verify the effect of using ethyl-trinexapac to anticipate the harvest of soybean "71E". The experiment will be carried out in the 202/243 season, in a randomized block experimental design, with 4 replications. Three commercial formulations of ethyl-trinexapac (MODDUS®, UPL4000 and Trix®) will form the treatments, all at a dose of 250 g i.a. ha-1, in five times of the cycle, at 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100 days after sowing (DAS) and a control treatment, arranged in a 3x5+T factorial scheme. The following will be analyzed: plant height (cm), height of insertion of the first pod (cm), number of pods per plant, number of branches, relative total chlorophyll content, grain mass per plant and per area, weight of 100 grains and grain moisture. Maturation will be characterized by collecting and threshing 50 pods from all plots, at three different times (110 DAS, 115 DAS and 120 DAS), evaluating the % of grain dehydration. At the end of the experiment, at 120 DAS, production and productivity components will be evaluated. The data obtained will be submitted to analysis of variance and regression analysis, when applicable.
