Abstract

The platformization of work carried out by food delivery app companies and the advance of neoliberalism based on policies and actions that withdraw the rights of the working class have imposed, on a growing and unprecedented scale, the systemic degradation of work. In addition, we understand that the sexual division of labor is also accentuated in the sphere of applications and this is expressed from the accumulation of working hours to the harassment that is imposed, especially on women, by preventing access to hygiene practices in the workplace. menstrual period. In this research project, we intend to apprehend, from the perspective of gender, how work on apps has a harmful impact on the menstrual health of delivery workers and contributes to the deepening of gender inequality and the precariousness of women's health.
