Abstract This study will evaluate in silico and in vitro the dentoalveolar responses in central incisors against trauma in the anterior region of the maxilla with laminated ceramic restorations in central incisors upper, with the use of conventional mouthguards (PB), reinforced with polyamide mesh 2mm from the buccal limit of the BP and printed in Dima Print Mouthguard - Kulzer. In the study in in vitro a model of the skull will be printed in Spin Red - Quanton 3D resin for each group of PB, covering the maxillary region and teeth individually in Resin Resilab Clear - Wilcos, with central incisors prepared to receive ceramic veneers in IPS E.max Cerec InlabMT - Ivoclar Vivadent and the periodontal ligament will be simulated in elastomeric material. Formeasure the microdeformations, extensometers will be placed in the alveolar process of the maxilla and in the center of the ceramic veneers of teeth 11 and 21. The impact will be carried out by means of a specific machine developed in Fapesp Process nº 2021/11159-7, with power within the limitresin elastic band in the horizontal direction, parallel to the ground and perpendicular to the surface of contact of the 35mm sphere with the mouthguards after thermal cycling process. Afterextensometry will be performed using the methodology of digital image correlation (DIC). for the study in silico, the study groups will be modeled and performed explicit dynamic analysis simulating impact with energy compatible with that of the in vitro study by means of a 35mm steel sphere in diameter and 7.8 g/cm³ of density at 1 m/s. The materials are considered isotropic, homogeneous and linearly elastic. The contacts will follow the same physical conditions of the test in vitro (frictional and glued). Meshes will be defined with tetrahedrons after 10% convergence. The maximum principal deformations and stresses in the teeth and maxilla will be presented in colorimetric graphics. The data will be submitted to descriptive and inferential statistics after verification of homogeneity and homoscedasticity to choose the appropriate test. | |
