Abstract

There are practical problems in which the system is subject to disturbances, deteriorating its dynamic behavior. In these cases, in addition to stabilization, the control design also needs to be able to attenuate or reject the influence of disturbances. For a control design to be successful, the disturbance must be bounded. Moreover, it is also necessary to classify the type of disturbance to which the system is subject. For each class of disturbance a different theoretical approach is required. This control design focuses on disturbances that have bounded infinity norm. The main contribution is to obtain sufficient LMI-based conditions for the stabilization of uncertain linear systems subject to bounded persistent disturbances. For the control design, the static output feedback will be considered. The system to be studied has a measured output, which will be used for feedback and a controlled output, which will be used to quantify the efficiency of the proposed design. Theoretical examples or practical applications will also be used to illustrate the efficiency of the developed results.
