Abstract

Urban policies can have a series of effects on the decisions of households and companies, so that such policies can have short and long-term impacts. The objective of this proposal is to evaluate, through economic models with heterogeneous agents and structural estimation, the effects of different urban policies (e.g. transportation, housing, urban regulations) on economic variables and the well-being of the population in cities.
