Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has underscored the importance of scientific communication in disease prevention and control, as well as in combating misinformation. This journalistic research project aims to promote the communication of emerging health risks, such as COVID-19 Variants of Concern and Antimicrobial Resistance. The project will leverage the research group's expertise supported by the JP Phase 2 grant to guide the development of informative audiovisual materials. The products have the potential to foster awareness of emerging infectious diseases through materials with accessible language and tailored to the Brazilian population.
