Abstract

The aim of this proposal is to translate the results and activities developed by the Young Researcher Project (JP) "Social-Constitutionalism in Comparative Perspective: under what conditions are social rights constitutionalized?" (project No. 2021/13511-0) into a more accessible language through multimedia platforms, advancing towards the necessary efforts of social dissemination of scientific production. The JP Project that will be the subject of this scientific investigation conducts cutting-edge research in the areas of comparative constitutionalism, human rights, and organized popular participation, all of which have direct effects on people's daily lives and, therefore, deserve access to their results. Various research strategies will be employed, including interviews with researchers, politicians, jurists, and other relevant social actors. Citizenship is built through the struggle for the recognition of rights, which, in turn, presupposes a better understanding of what constitutions and human rights are and why they matter. The results of this proposal will contribute to the construction of a more aware citizenship, disseminating and popularizing the most advanced knowledge in the scope of this debate.
