Abstract

The mission of the Center for Science for Development (CCD) and the Cancer Control project in the State of São Paulo (ConeCta-SP) will be to apply methods for the study and implementation of new approaches for the prevention and control of cancer in the state of São Paulo. São Paulo. The success of the proposal depends on efficient communication strategies, in addition to the target group of the actions to be implemented. Several institutions were then involved in the ConeCta-SP project, including the São Paulo Oncocentro Foundation (project headquarters), Oncoguia institute, São Paulo State Health Department and the International Cancer Research Agency. The scholarship holder, together with the Oncoguia Institute, will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing the communication strategies of the Cancer Control project in the State of São Paulo (ConeCta-SP), disseminating quality information with a direct impact on patients and professionals of health. These marketing and communication strategies will be essential for the future implementation of organized population-based screening programs.
