Abstract

This undergraduate research project aims to systematize the bibliography on the Education theme included in Professor Heleieth Saffioti's library through the inventory of its titles. The investigation also intends to identify and analyse her academic publications and evaluate teaching activities in the same period, considering the collection's constitution and institutionalization as a mark of her professional activity. Therefore, a cross-referencing will conduct with data from the library system report of the Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp) in Araraquara from 2024. Details such as publication years, publishers, the presence or absence of annotations, bookplates, autographs, dedications, or signatures will be recorded and catalogued. The project is grounded in the "New Cultural History" methodology, engaging with studies on personal collections and the history of the teaching profession. The research sources comprise a set of 262 books categorized under the "education" theme, constituting Professor Heleieth Saffioti's library and collection.
