Abstract

Lentinula edodes (Berk.) (Pegler) is a mushroom with high gastronomic value, capable of degrading lingnocellulosic residues, converting these materials as a nutritional source. The traditional method of cultivation of L edodes is carried out in wood logs, being the most used eucalyptus in Brazil. However, given the great variability of L. edodes strains, studies analyzing the productive viability of these strains are fundamentally important, since they may differ in terms of growth speed, resistance to contaminating fungi, optimal incubation temperature and humidity, among others. Thus, the objective of this work is to evaluate the productivity of three commercial strains of L. edodes (FF-30, BP, LED-241) produced in eucalyptus (Eucalyptus alba) logs in two cultivation environments (forest room and greenhouse). For so, the items loss of organic matter of eucalyptus logs throughout the cultivation cycle and mass and number of basidiomata produced by the three L. edodes strains will be evaluated, aiming at identifying the one with the best agronomic performance in the different cultivation environments.
