Abstract

The "shiitake" mushroom, known as "black mushroom" and "mushroom of the oak ", of Asian origin has attracted the attention of many researchers due to its nutritional properties, rich in olysaccharides, minerals, proteins, vitamins; and medications, use in the treatment of diseases such as cancer and diabetes, giving high interest in growing this mushroom. Shiitake grows in rich materials lignin, can be grown on wood or sawdust, but some countries come grow-in grass residues, which has significant advantages, like as: decrease the total cultivation time and increase the breeding increase, in addition to environmental feasibility, which replaces the use of vegetable raw material from trees by grasses. With that, it is intended to elucidate in this project or agronomic behavior of the shiitake mushroom (Lentinula edodes) grown in straw of rice and brachiaria under different doses of plaster. The choice of strains is one of the most important stages seen that there are few lines adapted to cultivation in straw. Therefore, 2 lines will be used (LED 20/02 and LED 20/03) and 6 formulations based on rice straw, brachiaria straw and sawdust, which are supplemented with wheat bran, calcium carbonate and in different percentages, the plaster. It will be evaluated on average, biological efficiency, average and mass number of mushrooms, precocity, time to first flow, production rate, as also the contents of macro and micronutrients present in the substrates. The results will be included in the analysis of variance and as media compared by the Tukey test, under or 5% level of significance.
