Abstract

The project aims to inform about the scientific use ofcannabinoids to advance treatment strategies for Parkinson's Disease. This oneproject is in line with the thematic project entitled "Modulation of autophagy bycannabinoids: neuroprotection in Parkinson's disease." In addition to allowing transparencyresearch promoted by FAPESP, also allows demystifying the use ofcompounds derived from Cannabis, which have been stigmatized, but which have severalpharmacological and therapeutic benefits when well used.In this way, our objective will be to publicize the research carried out, its possibletherapeutic applications in Parkinson's Disease, as well as attracting investment and support forresearch related to the use of cannabinoids in neurodegenerative diseases, helpingin the development of technological discoveries relevant to Brazil
