Abstract

The activity plan for this scholarship initially focuses (first 24 months) on studying the association between the consumption of ultra-processed foods and the incidence (new cases) of dyslipidemia among participants in the NutriNet Brasil cohort. The plan includes activities for the scholarship holder that will result in the preparation and publication of at least one scientific article on this association, including literature review, analysis conduct, interpretation of results, and discussion, in light of the obtained results, of public policies for dyslipidemia prevention in Brazil. Depending on the approval of extending the scholarship for an additional 24 months, the scholarship holder will dedicate themselves to similar activities, but now related to studying the association between consumption of ultra-processed foods and cardiovascular diseases. Other activities throughout the two periods are described in the Work Plan. (AU)
