Abstract

Introduction: Sexual violence against children and adolescents has threatened and violated the dignity of this population. In Brazil, the Guardianship Council is the first body to come into contact with the complaint and initial reception. It is therefore a strategic body in the protection network that needs actions to promote ongoing education, comprehensive care and intersectoral longitudinal monitoring of victims and their families. Aim: To develop and validate a multi-professional educational booklet to support guardianship counselors in dealing with sexual violence against children and adolescents. Method: A methodological study using Echer's assumptions about the stages in the process of building educational materials for health care. For the validation process, experts will be selected who will evaluate the booklet using a scale of agreement, constructed by the researchers, with information on the appearance and content of the material, related to the adequacy of the information, language and illustrations, according to a reference called Suitability Assessment of Materials. Content analysis will be carried out and the Content Validation Index (CVI) will be calculated to gauge the experts' agreement on the representativeness of each item, considering an index equal to or greater than 0.80 as desirable for content validation. Expected results: This study brings as a direct expected result an educational technology that can bring immediate benefits to the population of guardianship counselors, as well as in the medium and long term to children, adolescents and their families. The proposal is part of an interprofessional perspective, bringing the innovative collaboration of an Image and Sound student to the area.
