Abstract

This research project aims to investigate, from an intersectional perspective, the trajectories of Black women in the university, with the purpose of understanding the challenges, achievements, and coping mechanisms related to their insertion and permanence in the academic environment. Through an immersion into the ordinary, which privileges everyday speeches, accounts, and narratives, I intend to comprehend how experiences of racial discrimination, sexism, and other forms of inequality are perceived in their trajectories, on the one hand, and on the other hand, to reflect on the extent to which participation in identity-based collectives and student organizations affect the construction of the identity and subjectivity of Black women in the university.
