Abstract

In this Scientific Initiation project, we aim to investigate preclinical safety and toxicityof substances with antineoplastic potential, using zebrafish (Danio rerio). For this investigation, different peptides will be synthesized and tested, in addition to substances of marine origin and compounds already known with potential anti-leukemic effects. Some reference drugs will also be evaluated. From this, we will seek to improve the understanding of preclinical toxicity and safety and contribute to the development of potential new therapeutic approaches.
