Abstract

Graphene-based materials have already demonstrated potential for sensing applications, and many graphene-based nanocomposites are being developed for this purpose. In this context, this work proposes the development of nanocomposites using laser induced graphene and semiconductor metal oxide nanoparticles. The materials prepared during this project will have their crystal structure, morphology, and surface oxidation states fully characterized. Subsequently, these materials will be evaluated regarding their potential for the detection of gases.
