Abstract

In this research project, studies will be conducted on the stereoselective synthesis of ¿-amino acid derivatives through enantioselective photocatalysis, employing both batch and continuous flow systems. The objective is to obtain enantioenriched non-natural amino acids with potential biological and industrial applications. To achieve this, the proposed approach involves the reaction between ¿-imino esters and dihydropyridines (Hantzsch esters) in the presence of a rhodium(III) photocatalyst under visible light irradiation.
