Abstract

The student will have to comply with the initial plan (accompany MT DR and carry out bibliographical research); carry out in-depth research on a system of cities defined by the criterion of incidence of recent extreme events. For the proposed system, the criterion adopted was flood and drought events involving cities in the region of cities related to the Amazon River basin, and order the bibliographical research based on this territorial cut-out.The selected student will accompany the work of the master's and doctoral students, so that their undergraduate research will be essential in selecting, organizing and compiling information and data. They will respond to all the activities on the schedule, be involved in the discussions and production of material for the development of the research and integrate the preliminary results by systematizing the information collected. In Stage I - Literature review, data collection and systematization, you will work in the first second year of the research, as explained in Scientific Report 1 (July/2024). At the end of the stage, he will collaborate in the preparation of the Follow-up Report.
