Abstract In this project, we will explore the symmetries of the Standard Model and their spontaneous breaking, especially the symmetries of Charge Conjugation (C), Parity (P), and Time Reversal (T), as well as the well-known theoretical result called the CPT theorem, along with the mechanism of CP symmetry violation. To do this, we will study the action of the weak force on mixed quark states through the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa mixing matrix. Finally, we will investigate the decay experiments of K and B mesons and their potential CP violation. | |
