Abstract

The goal of this work is to produce drinking water using atmospheric air as a reservoir. The prototype will be created by assembling a metal structure upon which to fix the polymer plates, as well as a ventilation system. When daylight ends, the plates are placed in the desorption system in an adapted oven. The new water production system is completely passive, requiring only sunlight. The properties of hygroscopicity and thermal stability of the atmospheric water generation device will be determined, as will the service life of the SAP plates.
