Abstract

The present work aims to evaluate the disappearance of children and teenagers in the city of Campinas-SP. In the year 2023, more than 14,233 children and adolescents disappeared in the State of São Paulo. This is a multicausal characteristic that affects thousands of families every day in Brazil. It will use empirical and deductive methodology to analyze the Disappearances Investigative Procedures (PID) in order to draw a profile of the missing in the age group from 0 to 18 years old, evaluate the action protocols used and, based on the information obtained, investigate the implementation of a database on disappearance cases in the municipality of Campinas-SP.
