Abstract The low level of physical activity associated with a sedentary modern lifestyle, coupledwith a high-fat diet, can lead to obesity and chronic systemic inflammation, promotingchanges in the immune system which may be related to the development of prostatecancer (PCa). Exercise is recognized for its potential role in reducing the risk of certaincancers, here we hypothesized that aerobic physical exercise positively modulates genesand protein involved in tumoral environment. Liquid biopsy has emerged as anattractive and promising strategy complementary to invasive tissue biopsy to guide PCadiagnosis, follow-up and treatment response. Liquid biopsy is employed to assessseveral body fluids biomarkers, including circulating tumor cells (CTCs), extracellularvesicles (EVs), circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) and RNA (ctRNA). To test thishypothesis, prostatic tissues and serum of rats will be investigated. For this, we willobserve the liquid biopsy analysis between treated and non-treated groups. | |
