Abstract This project aims to implement an "Astrocomb," which refers to an optical frequency comb (OFC) for astronomy, specifically for calibrating the G-CLEF spectrograph (GMT - Consortium Large Earth Finder) on the Giant Magellan Telescope (GMT). The project will explore architectures using electro-optic combs and/or ultrafast pulse lasers. The work will involve design, implementation, characterization, and optimization of the astrocomb. | |
